Among our most favourite cities, London has it all. We’ve been more times than we can count, and continue to travel there as often as our schedule allows.  With so much to see, do and explore, here’s our top picks for the enjoying…

Featuring individually styled suites by award-winning designer Kit Kemp, the Ham Yard Hotel is a luxurious slice of British comfort. There’s no place we’d rather catch-up on our beauty sleep, followed with a workout in the hotel’s fabulous gym.

Morning Fuel:

For healthy and insanely delicious smoothies, acai bowls, avo-toast and more, The Juice Baby knocks it out of the park on all fronts. My kids and I are regulars, devouring everything with pure joy.

Afternoon Tea:

For afternoon tea (a glass of bubbly or two) Sketch is the place. Situated in the prettiest of pink parlour rooms with the most exquisite selections of sweet and savoury treats, reservations weeks (or months) in-advance are a must. That good.

Waterstones is what most North American book stores wish they could be. The Piccadilly spot in particularly gets our vote for its historic art deco building, six enormous floors of books and a Children’s section modeled on a (Piccadilly) Circus theme.

Along with its bright, beautiful space, healthy food bar and candles we always scoop-up, Tri Yoga offers a variety of yoga, meditation and workshops for all levels and interests. The power vinyasa and hot pilates are among our favourites.

For farm fresh greens, wild caught fish, and the most delectable sweets your tastebuds will swoon over, Ottolenghi is where culinary magic happens. Everything is made daily on site with presentation that’s beyond beautiful. The mini cheesecakes are a must.

For days when the kids would rather skip the shops or site-seeing tours, we’ll head to The Zoo. Located in the north-east corner of London’s Regent’s Park, there’s tons of interesting animals to explore, without an exhausting amount of walking to endure.

A Mayfair institution, Cecconi’s is a modern, classic Italian restaurant, often attracting a who’s-who crowd. But it’s the bar we’ll frequent most, thanks to its extensive cocktail list (vodka martinis) and best-tasting olives.

Blow Dry:

With so much to see and do in London, time is of the essence. Precisely why we’ll get a blow-out at the Daniel Galvin salon, a world-class destination for the best bespoke hair services. One stop here, and our locks are London-perfect for days following.

A favourite among celebs and beauty devotees, Sarah Chapman is where skin miracles happen. Think expert dermal therapists and bespoke treatments in the most zen space, and get the idea. We’ll often request some ‘glow’ and get precisely just that. The Sarah Chapman 3D moisture infusion masks are a travel staple too.

The department store that started it all, Selfridges is a world class destination for its luxury shopping, restaurants and services. Each time we go, we lose ourselves (and budget) while shopping the latest fashions, home décor items, candles, stationary and so much more. Don’t even get us started on the Food Hall.
