Growing up in Toronto, Canada, we’ve experienced our fair share of winter weather. And while we’d love to say snowy days and cooler temps can be enjoyable, we’d be way off our truth meter.

Seeking refuge in a warm climate has been the best life change for us, and our family. Living near water, with access to beach and sunshine most days of the year, is truly a gift.

What is it about the water, sand and sunshine we can’t get enough of?

The sound of the waves. The fresh ocean air. The salt water on our skin.

Or how about the pure joy of putting our phone down to take a moment to hit pause. To people watch among the crowds. To pick up a book or magazine, and just escape temporarily…

And speaking of escape, since first seeing the work of Canadian artist Joshua Jensen Nagle, we’ve been swooning over his epic beach prints ever since.

Not only do they instantly remind us of our love for the beach, he has captured locations we can only dream of one day visiting. From Maui to the Italian Riviera, Portugal to Australia. #Pure magic.
